BrassWorks Brass Quintet

The group was co-founded in 1986 by Tubaist, Dale Schubert and trombonist, Scott Rogers to give local directors a venue for performance of Brass Quintet repertoir.  BrassWorks has been featured on several concert series and has played for many events including weddings, receptions, concerts, and community events, as well as performing at churches, health care and assisted care facilities.  They also perform an annual Community Christmas Concert in Defiance each December, and have also performed clinics and master classes for local schools.

 

 

The group performs a variety of music from classical to modern composers, sacred, folk songs and patriotic, jazz and pop.  They also have a large repertoire of Christmas music for holiday functions.

 

 

Members include:  Tim Booth, Jason Lozer – Trumpet, Tracy Behrman – French Horn, Scott Rogers – Trombone, and Dale Schubert – Tuba.
