Emerging Performers
Young performers are encouraged to participate in the Bean Creek Coffee Houses. These friendly and informal gatherings are a great opportunity to build performance chops. Participating youth will be paired with a mentor.
The Big Picture
July 15 - Aug 2, 2014
Led by nationally known artist, Cory Oberndorfer, the community (ages 8-80+) will design and create a mural in downtown Fayette. Everyone is invited to participate in developing the concept and in the actual painting.

Summer 2015
Teens (ages 14- 18) work with reknowned composer and actor to create and perform an original piece of musical theatre, Up the Creek, a look at growing up in the Bean Creek Valley from the perspective of those doing the growing up. The program will include a week in residence at a college and performance of Up the Creek at the 2015 Bull Thistle Festival. Schedule and applications available fall 2014.
